This 12 hour Paediatric First Aid course is designed for individuals who work with young children and was developed to meet the course programme as laid down by the ncma, Pre-School Learning Alliance, Ofsted, CACHE level 2 and Sure Start to meet the requirements of the National Standards for the purpose of registering as an early year's professional.
This course is designed for all Child Carers who work with young children and require the necessary knowledge to cope with an emergency, and to be able to recognise and respond to the emergency needs of a child with chronic medical conditions or who injure themselves.
All childminders in England and Wales are required to have a valid early year's paediatric first aid qualification preferably upon registration if not within six months of receiving their registration certificate.
