First Aid at Work Re-Qualification. PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 06 March 2009 14:26

This course is designed to update and refresh qualified First Aiders who need to renew their First Aid qualification. Re-qualification can only be achieved if First Aiders attend a two day First Aid at Work Re-qualification course before their current certificate expires. First Aiders whose certificates have expired can no longer be qualified and therefore not proficient under the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations, 1981. All First Aiders whose qualification has expired are required to attend a full four day First Aid at Work course.

Even though the course aims to update the First Aiders knowledge in any changes made since their last training, it will also endeavour to refresh the student's knowledge in as many other areas of First Aid practice as possible. If First Aiders have had little opportunity to practice their First Aid skills over the past three years, we advise all employers to consider sending their First Aiders on a full first aid course.

Course Content:

  • To update students of changes in the First Aid practice
  • To refresh students knowledge in the First Aid at Work syllabus
